During my recent trip to Goa, I stumbled upon The Turtle Restaurant in Calangute, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of my journey. The vibe here is super chill — cozy interiors, beachy feel, and just the right mix of music and mood.
The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Goan flavors and perfectly cooked. But what truly made the evening special was the incredible service. A huge shout-out to Basu bhai, whose warm smile and attentive nature made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
If you’re ever in Calangute and looking for a place that serves great food with genuine hospitality, make sure to stop by The Turtle Restaurant. Trust me, it’s worth it! ✨

Visited this newly opened restaurant a few days back for lunch. Run by local Goan family, Serving Home style Goan Food, fresh seafood and other cuisines.
They also serve Chinese, Indian & continental food.
The thali is wholesome and the curry is flavourful made by the owner herself. Serving quality food at budget friendly rates.
Must try: Goan fish thali, dragon chicken, butter garlic crab, BBQ chicken sizzler, Goan fish fry.
In veg: paneer butter masala with kulcha/ naan.
Serradura is made in house by the owner’s daughter.
Note: spacious restaurant, friendly staff & owners, parking limited space.

Our friends, Shailesh, Amrita and Aarav during our stay with them in CALANGUTE introduced us to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were met by the owner and were shown to our table.
The service was good and the selection of the menu was adequate. Our meal from starter to dessert were well presented and all very appetising. Unfortunately we could only visit twice during our stay, but we will be back in 2026.

A fantastic new spot in Goa! The Turtle Bar and Restaurant serves an authentic Goan Fish Thali that’s bursting with flavor, along with a great selection of Goan, Indian non-veg, and vegetarian dishes. The bar offers a solid variety of beers, liquor, and cocktails to complement your meal.
Despite being open for just a month, the place is well-run, and a standout detail was the spotless toilets and wash basin area—a rarity in many places! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is truly worth trying.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal in Goa!

Had the pleasure of dining at THE TURTLE last night, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! I was struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The dim lighting, cozy decor, and soft music created the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner.
Every dish we ordered was not only presented beautifully, but was also bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch too our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

I have taken to my family for dinner to turtle restaurant it's real propere goan food we have enjoyed specially sea food which we have ordered king prawns white snapper muscle n tisryo even we had started us well that was amezing test us well, owner is very friendly n it's family restaurant must be visit this place if you want to have goan local food

Had dinner at Turtle Restaurant and really enjoyed the food. We ordered rava fried prawns, roti, mushroom, and manchurian – everything was well-cooked and tasty. The prawns were especially fresh and crispy. Service was quick and the ambience is nice for a relaxed evening. A good place to try out in Goa.

Wonderful restaurant we have eaten in here three times in the last two weeks.The restaurant is beautifully decorated lovely tables and chairs and plants. The toilets are very good. Nice menu and the food is wonderful. Highly recommend a visit
